Orgain Protein Powder Review

Orgain Protein Powder Review

In this short video review, we’re talking
about Orgain Organic Protein Powder. This is probably one of the most popular products
on the market. You can find it at any Wholefoods or any natural
health foods store. Orgain protein powder is right up there Vega
and Garden of Life, and they have a specialty in protein products. In this case we’re talking about Orgain protein
powders, this one hear is for the Creamy Chocolate Fudge. They also make a Sweet Vanilla Bean, a Peanut
Butter, an Iced Match Latte and an Unflavored or Natural protein powder flavor. Which the latter, the Natural, does not contain
any Stevia. So if you’re looking for a Stevia-free protein
powder, that would be a good one to try out. I personally have not tried that one. I’ve only had the Creamy Chocolate Fudge and
the Sweet Vanilla Bean, and both I’ve found to taste delicious. I read somewhere on the website that Orgain
set out to make a vegan protein powder that was the next closets thing to chocolate milkshake,
or vanilla milkshake, depending on which flavor your get. And I think they accomplished their mission. It is quite delicious. It is very smooth. It is a little bit sweet, so if you’re sensitive
to that, it might not be the best product for you. However, it really just depends on what you
are using it in. I like to put Orgain protein powder in anything
from smoothies to oatmeal. You name it. It’s pretty universal in a lot of different
things. As for the nutritional ingredients that those
types of qualities, it is a pretty nice protein blend. It’s got Orgain Organic Protein Blend, which
contains pea, brown rice, chia seed, and hemp. It does not mention the exact amino acid profile,
which is kind of a bummer because it’s nice to know how many BCAAs (branched chain amino
acids) are in it, if you’re really conscious of a product that’s going to facilitate muscle
recovery or athletic performance. In this case, those are all really high protein
sources. And with the combination of brown rice and
pea, it’s automatically going to be complete. Plus Orgain Organic protein powder has hemp
and chia, which are both excellent sources of plant-based protein. So I would have to guess that it’s somewhere
between 4 and 5 grams of BCAAs. But again, we don’t know that for sure as
it doesn’t actually have that information on the label. It is completely organic. It has no added sugar. However, it (Orgain Organic Protein Creamy
Chocolate Fudge) does have 1 gram of sugar, at least this particular flavor does. It does have 5 sugar alcohol grams, so it’s
getting sweetener from Stevia as well as some other sources. This product has taken a lot of flak from
other review sites. A lot of people are kind of against the use
of certain natural flavors or even the high oleic sunflower oil, which is in Orgain’s
(it’s called their) “Orgain Organic Creamer Base,” which is pretty much what makes it
taste so delicious. But all in all, these are things that are,
you know, only going to impact someone who is really meticulous about the type of products
that they’re getting. It’s really hard to find a protein powder
that just superior and perfect when it comes to its ingredients. In this case, I think Orgain did a pretty
good job at putting in some very high quality proteins that are completely organic, and
that taste delicious. So, great product. It’s also relatively affordable. I was finding it on Amazon for about the high
$20 range. But lately Orgain plant-based protein powder
has been in the low to mid $30 range. US dollars that is. So, pretty affordable compared to a lot of
other products that are more like upper $30’s to mid $40’s. I think you get a pretty good bang for your
buck, and there are five flavors to choose from. So yeah, try em out. Let me know what you think. Leave a comment or a question below, and I
appreciate you watching.
