How to get over your sweet tooth cravings


sorry my stomach growled. I love that, that’s because I’m hungry for pudding! welcome back to busy girl… today we’re
gonna do something a little bit different we’re gonna have dessert I
have my friend Lindsey here with me and I think she might be a dessert expert
I certainly am I have a sweet tooth for sure! Oh my gosh, me too! So today we are
gonna make a chocolate dessert for when you just can’t like get through the rest
of the day without chocolate and a lemon dessert when you need something a
little bit more refreshing like maybe in the summer
or spring, right? Are you ready to get started and make a couple things I
totally am! Today we’re gonna do some pudding cups, do you like pudding?
Absolutely! What’s your favorite kind? chocolate! oh mine too!- so this is a healthier
version of our favorite food so we are gonna start with our Ninja Blender one
of my favorite things about the personal blender as you can put everything in it
and it just goes it Zip, Zip, Zip, and you’re done! Um, so it’s super quick. Our very
first ingredient is going to be some coconut milk we’re going to use 3/4 of a
cup of unsweetened coconut milk we’re gonna use one scoop of confetti cake
protein powder I get mine from GNC yeah it’s so good then have we have the zest
and juice of one lemon and three little stevia packets to sweeten it and we’re
gonna end with some chia seed. Do you think that’s gonna be good? it sounds
really good to me I like the Cake protein powder. That sounds really good. Who
doesn’t love cake? good right so then for the chocolate again we’re going to use
the same milk we have one scoop of chocolate lava protein powder and two
tablespoons of chocolate cocoa powder, two stevias and two tablespoons of chia seeds.
Are you ready to make the lemon pudding Cup? I am, yay!
did you know these have less than 300 calories apiece and that sounds amazing
okay when can you have dessert and have it for less than 300 calories
and have it be healthy? and have it be healthy! amazing! let’s put the milk in
the blender cup okay and now we’ll put our scoop of protein powder in it smells
amazing so we are gonna use the zest and juice of one lemon okay
the lemon smells really good! Does it? it’s so fresh and delightful. I have
three packets of our stevia. Got that all in there… make it nice and sweet
mm-hmm and I like to wait with my chia seeds and put them in last every time
because they start to thicken and so if you put them in too soon it starts to
thicken before you can actually blend your concoction so you don’t have to
actually blend this but if you do blend it it makes it much more creamy and so I
like to blend mine for about 15 to 20 seconds okay let’s try this out here we
go it’s gonna be loud! Make sure it’s locked and sealed here. All right…(blender noise)
I smell the lemon mm-hmm that smells really good so now is it done? you
just pour it into cup and you’re good to go…refrigerate it. How long do you refrigerate?
uh you know I usually do mine for about two hours and they get
nice and creamy and the Chia seeds usually has a little bit of crunchiness to it
but as it absorbs into the liquid it gets nice and firm and yeah nice smells
like it would taste like at Girl Scout cookie! oh my god doesn’t it!? yes you’re
right I didn’t even – well we’re gonna get that in the refrigerator and then
you get to try it are you ready for the chocolate one this is what I came here
so I’m ready it’s my very favorite things ever yes seriously my vice but I
am ready to learn how to make something healthy with it awesome so in an earlier
episode I shared with you that I would give you tips
what to do when you’re craving chocolate and you can’t get through the night this
is one of my hot tips I can’t live without my chocolate pudding cup. And
for the chocolate pudding Cup we are going to start with 3/4 cup of coconut
milk 1 scoop of chocolate lava protein mix. So chocolaty! yeah! our next
ingredient is 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and then we’re going to go ahead
and sweeten it with some stevia again do you care if I open them yes please there
you go my dear. alright again our final product is going to be the chia
seeds okay are you ready to blend this thing? Yes Mam…(Blender Noise) look how creamy that is. that’s awesome. It smells like a brownie that just came out of the oven just smell that oh my gosh so
chocolatey It’s amazing I cannot wait to try this it is gonna be great
it kind of reminds me of when you pull a lava cake out of the oven oh my
gosh yeah all right? It’s that smell that fills your whole house Uh Huh. Its gonna taste fabulous.
So, look what I found in the store. What is that? It’s this new cool whip made with coconut milk it’s non-dairy organic I’m
like thinking we could use this with some raspberries to garnish it if like I
had a friend coming over like you got some amazing! Do you care if I try it? oh oh my
gosh it sounded oh god I can’t wait okay tell me what you think cuz I’ve not
really tried it mMmmm that is incredible does it taste like cool whip it’s so good but
it has that hint of coco, that coconut you know in it oh my gosh it’s amazing
yeah well we’re gonna garnish these bad boys with some Coco whip! yum! With our
raspberries and our mint and you can actually taste them okay are you ready to try these? I seriously cannot wait they are so pretty it almost is like you don’t
want to but you know it’s gonna be so good that you gotta do it I hope so yeah
so you could totally serve these at a dinner party?
Don’t you think? oh my gosh yes, they’re beautiful. okay so do you think we should
start with the lemon huh mmm I think… I’m gonna…Did you just steal a Raspberry? I think I’ll try the lemon one I’m ready now. oh I think raspberry and lemon goes well
together? Oh I agree. I think lemon raspberry, lemon blueberry
lemon mint. Oh so true!I will get this little mint out. okay, that’s just for garnish? that’s not
for eating..No, sometimes I eat mint Yea, I don’t know, I don’t know what the rule on mint is? Well, I might be a little weird yeah. Well, I know mojitos are good right? yes andmy very favorite thing to use mint for is water to like make it taste good.
I’ve never done that. I know you’ll get your water in if you throw some mint leaves in it
that’s a really good idea mm-hmm okay if you want the first bite
or me okay I think you should because you’re my guest okay fine I’m not gonna oh that’s so good so so good mm-hmm
fresh you can taste that zest yes you can I love it! you’re right , Girl Scout cookies…
you know I was just reading and it said they are gluten free and you get a major
source of protein and energy from them without all of the sugar and carbs
awesome, So, I can’t wait to try the chocolate I am so ready
that’s my awesome favorite thing yes I think I’ve already said that a million
times so I think you should try the chocolate first because… Do you think I can?
Yes, I’m gonna let you. You don’t think it’s rude? no absolutely not
I stole your raspberry so you can have a raspberry with it I guess I wonder I bet
it would be really good if you even blended raspberry in oh yeah that would
be so so good what do you think is it like to die for? okay so you like lava
cake right? absolutely! and you know when you cut into the lava cake and this
stuff runs out yes but gooey deliciousness no no try it okay see what you think. And
I’m gonna get some of that coco whip mm-hmm that was so so good! love mm-hmm. Is that, Lava Cake? Mmm-hmm, my favorite! I was gonna ask you which one
you like – better? So I love them both, this one’s super refreshing great on a
summer day just really really light and fresh but this one is like when you have
that sweet tooth that urge you guys need to make this this is so good oh my god
