Bulletproof Your Immune System – Healthy options to add to your nutrition.

– Hey, guys, it’s Dr. Kevin Greene here from In8 Wellness Center
in Beverly, Massachusetts. So we’ve been talkin’ about ways to bulletproof your immune system. Please check out our blog
at our website, In8wc.com and click on the blog link. You’ll see the link for how to bulletproof your immune system. So I want to talk about now, we’ve talked about some things not to do. I want to talk about some things to do or some things to add into or, you know, have some renewed
thought into putting these into your, you know,
your regular meal plans because they do boost, they
do help your immune system. And a lot of these things
are anti, you know, antiviral, antioxidant,
antimicrobial, antibacterial. So I’m gonna read off a list, you’ll have to forgive me for that, just so I don’t miss anything here. So onions and garlic, antimicrobial, antiviral, antibacterial. Berries, so blueberries,
very good for your heart, lower cholesterol
naturally, immune boosting. Citrus, so, you know,
you can take vitamin C, better to get it with all the other constituents in an orange. Mushrooms, shroom out. So mushrooms are actually good at, for some reason, for your mushrooms and your immune system, it
will help modulate it up or down, depending on what your needs are. And, also, it’s a good
source of vitamin D. Ginger is something that’s
highly anti-inflammatory and has some great antioxidant effects. Bone broth, something that’s very good for your gut, your microbiome, amino acids, rich in minerals. Turmeric, heavy duty anti-inflammatory. Again, another thing that helps to modulate your immune system. And then, coconut oil. Coconut oil is great for everything. I love coconut oil. And so that’s also
microbial and antibacterial. And, just as a general rule, you know, if you’ve ever
heard of the French Paradox and, so, the French are some of the healthiest people in the world. And I haven’t been to France myself, but I do happen to know
that they tend to eat some vegetables with every meal, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner. And so, eating vegetables
whenever you can, you know, fruits and vegetables, heavier on the vegetables,
lower on the fruits, at every meal is great. And the more colorful that
you can make your salads the better off you are because you’re getting
different nutrients. So, your oranges, your greens, your reds. Making, you know, trying to
make your vegetable plate, your salads as colorful as possible. And, you know, using some of your coconut oil on there as well. Olive oil is also another
good option for that. What we’re gonna talk
about on the next thing, it’s just a couple of other things you can do to help
boost your immune system and we’ll actually talk about a little bit of chiropractic as well. Hope you have a great day. Again, take a look at our
blog at In8WellnessCenter.com.
