Black Pepper Essential Oil Benefits and Uses

Black Pepper Essential Oil Benefits and Uses

Jordan: Hi, I’m Jordan Rubin. Welcome to Ancient Medicine Today brought
to you by, the leading natural health website where food is medicine. And speaking of food being medicine, we’re
going to talk about a food that is so powerful. It’s kind of ubiquitous, meaning it’s everywhere
at every restaurant and every waiter or waitress says, “Would you like black pepper on that?” But I bet you didn’t know how powerful black
pepper is. Black pepper is the bomb, especially in the
form of essential oil. How can you use these tiny little fruits known
as black peppers to transform your health? We’re going to tell you right now. What does black pepper do for you? Black pepper aids circulation. All peppers, spicy peppers, are great for
circulation, powerful for the heart. Black pepper is not just in that little shaker,
it does so much more. Black pepper essential oil is one of my favorites. Improves digestion. Black pepper not only improves digestion but
it improves the utilization or absorption or bioavailability of other foods. In fact, black pepper and its compound piperine,
combined with turmeric and other compounds, helps to improve absorption significantly. So if you combine black pepper essential oil
with other antioxidant-rich foods and beverages, you’re going to be glad you did. Black pepper helps to soothe aches and pains,
this is topically because it brings circulation to the area. But it also can be consumed orally, which
I do every day in my morning coffee. It is awesome for respiratory health. If you’re somebody who wants to get more oxygen
in, who lives at a high altitude, who wants to perform at your best, black pepper can
help with respiratory health. Black pepper can also be absolutely good if
you’re someone who’s addicted to nicotine. Who would have thought black pepper can reduce
nicotine cravings, particularly the aroma of black pepper oil. And black pepper is a great detoxifier. Black pepper essential oil is great to be
used topically, great to diffuse and internally to help move things through your system. Folks I’m telling you, black pepper has been
used for centuries. Black pepper oil is amazing but I bet you
don’t use it. If you’re somebody who loves essential oils,
black pepper is a must. So share this video with others, click that
share button, if you want to tell someone about a new essential oil that they probably
don’t use. Because people love essential oils and they
need to know the benefits. So here’s some things you want to know about
safety. For topical use, use a one-to-one dilution
with a carrier oil like coconut, olive, avocado or jojoba. Black pepper can be pretty strong. Try a patch test before applying black pepper
to a large area of your body, just make sure that it doesn’t cause an adverse reaction
because it is very strong. Black pepper can be an irritant in high doses
so make sure to take one drop at a time and use it with other oils for its powerful benefits. Folks, I’m Jordan Rubin and we’re talking
about Ancient Medicine Today. And this ancient medicine is black pepper
essential oil. And if you’re using black pepper oil that
is labeled as a dietary supplement and certified organic, we believe it can aid circulation,
we believe it can improve digestion, help soothe aches and pains, aid respiratory health,
reduce cigarette cravings and detoxify the body. Black pepper helps to improve metabolism,
absorption of other nutrients. I use black pepper along with turmeric and
ginger essential oils in my morning coffee to provide an energizing, warming benefit
that you won’t get anywhere else. If you’re somebody who loves golden milk,
combination of turmeric and coconut oil or turmeric and coconut milk, almond milk, turmeric
is very, very popular today, curry etc., you need black pepper to help you absorb the turmeric. Black pepper essential oil can help you do
that and so much more. So if you’re an essential oil lover or you
know somebody who wants better circulation, digestion, less aches and pains, better health
in your cardiorespiratory system, quitting cigarettes and to detoxify the body, make
sure to share this information. And by the way, black pepper essential oil
is amazing and so are hundreds of other herbs, spices, and superfoods. You can learn all about them right here on

Oh yes I've noticed that they don't come around to the tables anymore with that gigantic peppermill. I didn't like that. that always made me uncomfortable.

  • Patricia Scott

Thank you for sharing. God Bless you always.

  • norweavernh

I am confused. The reading I've done indicated piperine is in the solids but not in the essential oil distilled. Not true?

Wishing You a very Happy Birthday! Dr.Axe.36 year ago a pioneer was born!!!

I love black pepper essential oil. I used it with ginger, turmeric and cinnamon essential oils to make a version of golden milk without the gritty bits which stem from using the actual spices. A couple drops of each in a mug of warmed almond milk and a tablespoon of coconut oil and raw honey to taste. Amazing!

You mentioned pepper essential oil was good for nicotine cravings. is there anything–maybe you could do a video on addiction to opioids? What essential oils or herbs could help for opiate addiction. there are so many people on yt that are jumping off suboxone and methadone and suffering for 90 days+ still getting extrene withdrawal symptoms; the lack of sleep is what kills them.

When my back pain is really bad and I've tried other oils and taken my pain meds. I make a blend of black pepper, ginger and clary sage essential oils works every time! I don't use this very often so I get maximum benefit from this blend, the only one I do use often is clary sage. Either put it in the bath or apply with carrier oil onto the painful area!

    And, here we go again!
1 to 1 dilution are you kidding? No, for body applications it is usually 1:2 ratio … face applications are 1:5 – 1:10 but vary and only a qualified Aromatherapist can determine appropriate ratios because that's what they've spent their time invested in studying the chemistry of essential oils! Essential oils such as black pepper are muscles membrane sensitive and are in no way to be ingested unless otherwise instructed by an Aromatic Medicine Practitioner, who has undergone additional studies in this feild!
Essential oils do not belong in the hands of mlm brands or supermarket shelves in respect to addressing conditions and symptoms …. You would not see pharmaceuticals in the hands of mlm brands! But then nothing surprises me, soon we'll have antibiotics and penicillin being pitched by mlm brands!
Actually that's ridiculous, that'll never happen because just like the Essential oil platform, it's a specialised feild of study and qualification!

  • I Ate Eight

My tea went from black tea plus milk, to green tea, half a teaspoon of ascorbic acid, one sugar, plus turmeric, ginger and black pepper. I love it.

Excellent video. Thank you. Now…where can I find black pepper essential oil? I already take it with my turmeric for better absorption. I like the idea of adding it to my coffee, but I'm not sure where to get the oil. Any recommendations? Thank you.

  • Ricardo Cat

I went to a Fridays Restaurant and they placed me and my whole family under the A/C vent well I started too complain but everyone else was fine so they said stop complaining, I didn't know what else to do except eat the Black pepper and it warmed me right up and I was able too enjoy the rest of the evening.

  • S.D. S.

I LOVE black pepper! I take lots of supplements, and it does help augment the absorption of many of them, especially turmeric/curcumin as you say. I am 62, and my inflammation issues have become nonexistent since I changed my diet, quit alcohol, and begun supplementation.
    Thank you!

  • Gennaro Sambuco

Great video, but how many drops per ounces or cup should I drink? 1:1 ratio for topical use seems to me a bit too strong too. BTW… Tumeric with good ole' cow's milk and honey go very well too. Carnivorous people NEVER discriminate against vegetarians. Not sure why vegetarians keep acting as God's gift on earth. Thanks

  • 7israelll

Could you please comment on how black pepper influencer testosterone and DHT levels? There are different sources and resources saying opposite things: some say it boosts testosterone, some say it inhibits it. This is a very relevant topic. Please make a video about it!

  • mdunawaym

I went to Sprouts and Whole Foods today, and they had the essential oil, but they said theirs was for diffusers, and topical application only. Can you tell me where to get the consumable form? I'd like to add a few drops to me daily black seed, and oregano oil teaspoons.

  • Markus Patients

Thank you for this valuable information. My VA doctor says hardly nothing, He's never touched me in 3 years. He just says "Take this pill and don't call me in the morning". Not all VA doctors are that way but this one takes the cake and I don't take any of their pills…

  • adnan e
